COVID-19 UPDATE

State Employees;

EAP+Work/Life support services are available to all State of Delaware employees, effective immediately and through June 30, 2020. This means that these services are available to  temporary, casual seasonal and benefit eligible employees who are not currently enrolled in a State of Delaware Highmark Delaware or Aetna health plan.

Verizon/VCS;

The responses for leave of absence requests have begun getting to members today. 

The carryover extension agreement has been completed. 

The home garaging agreement is being processed and should be effect across the board by Monday 3/23/2020. The agreement is port to port for everyone involved.

The Telemed coverage cost share is waived for 90 days.

The work at home is has been rolled out pretty smoothly.

The vacation % increase should easily allow anyone to use that time if they choose.

Benefit times are being extended due to medical procedure delays.

The company is working very hard to secure disinfectant products and other PPE, and although we realize the difficulty in finding these products, we have made it known that technicians have the right to their own safety on the job. 

No job is so important that we can’t take the time to do it safely !!

The screening process is supposed to be in place, but we know there are problems !!

Kent County Waste Water;

The County has submitted an intense plan of action, to help prevent the spread of the virus and protect its employees. They have also implemented article 11.4 of the County CBA.
