CWA Local 13101 Bargaining Report #3

                                                 Kent County Levy Court

Your CWA Local 13101 bargaining Council met with Kent County on 12/17/19 for a part day session. A number of clarifications were made by each party on their position of the issues.

A subsequent meeting was scheduled for Friday January 3, 2020. We had agreed that a fair settlement is attainable and would work the full day plus in our mutual effort towards achieving a meaningful settlement.

Unfortunately, on December 27, 2019, Kent County’s Attorney and Chief Negotiator, William (Bill) W. Pepper Sr. passed away unexpectedly. Due to Mr. Peppers passing, bargaining has been recessed temporarily. 

Upon the announcement of the appointment of the new Kent County Chief Negotiator, we will mutually schedule the resumption of Bargaining.

The CWA 13101 Bargaining Committee, CWA Local 13101 and CWA District 2-13 extend our deepest sympathies to Bill’s family, co-workers, associates and Kent County personnel.
